The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the announcement to fill up the 24369 vacant posts of Constables in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs)!
Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates.

Monthly Salary: Rs. 21700/- - Rs. 69100/-
Academic Qualifications:
Candidates MUST have passed the 10th Standard. Having NCC training would be an additional qualification! The candidates will need to run a 5 km distance within 24 minutes!
Physical Fitness:
Males must be of minimum 170 cm in height and chest measurement of 80 cm, with an expansion of possibly up to 5 cm! Females must be of a minimum height of 157 cm. They must cover a 1.6 km distance in 8.5 minutes!
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on their performances in the ONLINE written examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), interview, and the Physical Fitness Tests.
Centres where the First Phase ONLINE written examination will be conducted: in Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Puducherry, Salem, Trichy, Vellore, and Thirunelveli.
