Tomorrow (Tuesday, 7th June) is the last date to apply for the 600 various vacant posts in the country’s premier public sector bank, the State Bank of India (SBI)!
Here are the details for the eligible and interested candidates to apply:
State Bank of India (SBI) is the country’s premier public sector bank and as such, it may be called in Tamil ‘the Indian Government Bank’!
SBI is the premier bank of the Reserve Bank of India. The central government’s financial transactions are conducted in the State Bank of India!
However, the public may avail of the services of SBI as any other bank! There are SBI branches in all the States of India! However, the States do not have any role in the administration of SBI. Only the Reserve Bank of India is involved in the SBI administration. It may be worth noting that all the State Government`s financial transactions are done in the State Bank of India!
An announcement has been released on the various 600 vacant posts in the State Bank of India.

Academic Qualifications:
Priority for appointment will be given to the candidates who have experience the ATMs operations and are retired. The retired employee MUST have the skill to monitor the operations through the smartphone, PC, Mobile App or Laptop!
Age Limit: Candidates MUST be in the age group 60-63 as of 18th May 2022!

Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected through shortlisting and interviews!
The Interview session will carry 100 marks. The State Bank of India will allot marks for this. No information shall be exchanged in this regard!

Step - 1:
Visit the official SBI websites: https://bank.sbi/careers OR https://www.sbi.co.in/careers
Step - 2:
Click the option ‘Career’ on the first page! Then, under the section `Engagement of Retired Bank Staff on Contract Basis - Anytime Channels`, select the option ‘Apply Online’!
Step - 3:
Fill up the applications and register and upload all the required documents/certificates. Then, pay the Application Fee. Download the registered application and take a print for future use.
Step - 4:
Even partly filled up and saved applications can be retrieved and the application may be filled up completely by using the Registration Number and Password and then saved after completion! In case corrections are required, the record can be retrieved and may be corrected! However, NOTE THAT THESE ALTERATIONS ARE ALLOWED ONLY UP TO 3 TIMES!
