Medical camp for drivers held at Chinmaya Nagar

As part of the 25th Road Safety Week celebration, a free medical camp was organised for drivers at Chennai South-West Regional Transport office at Chinmaya Nagar.
Over 350 drivers were screened for blood pressure, sugar level and vision. While 40 drivers had problems with their vision, 80 were found to have high sugar levels. They were recommended for further medical treatment.
R Radhakrishnan, Joint Transport Commissioner (Rules), Regional Transport officer A Ravichandran, vehicle inspectors J John Bosco, V Girirajan, M Poongulazhi and A Rajamani were among the officials who took part in the event.
