For managing PCOS, women must follow these lifestyle changes compulsorily!!

In many young women, these days one issue that is present is PCOS or poly cystic ovarian syndrome. This is a hormonal disorder that would result in enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer side. This issue could be due to lifestyle changes or due to stressful life etc. It is noteworthy that women belonging to the reproductive age group would have PCOS in them.

There are various symptoms a woman with PCOS would show and these are irregular or missed periods, excess body hairs, weight gain, acne etc. After the Coronavirus infection pandemic, the issue has been identified in more women.

The bitter truth is that women with PCOS might also develop serious issues like diabetes, cancer in the uterus, heart issues etc.

There are certain lifestyle changes a woman  must follow without fail to manage PCOS. These are

By doing exercises etc:
Both mental as well as physical health would become better by doing exercises regularly. Doing exercises would not only improve bone health, heart health etc but also would help in managing PCOS effectively. It is necessary that women must do yoga or other physical exercise and these would  reduce the symptoms of PCOS.

By sleeping well in the nights:
By not sleeping well in the night time would only increase the intensity of PCOS issue. Hence, a woman with PCOS must sleep well to manage her issue.

By sticking to healthy eating habits:
Those women with PCOS must avoid junk foods, oily foods, canned foods etc and must eat foods like fruits, vegetables, wholegrains, pulses etc. These women must drink enough water to stay hydrated throughout the day and must avoid sodas, sweets and other sugary drinks etc. Dairy products intake could also aggravate the symptoms of PCOS and these must also be avoided.

By stress management:
Stress is  the real reason for several health issues and hence it is necessary to manage stress for the overall health to be good. The issue of PCOS would get aggravated by stress or anxiety. It is important to note that those with PCOS must do yoga or meditation etc to control stress in them.
