If we do not have enough insulin, then we would have high glucose levels in the blood.

It is noteworthy that the foods we eat get broken down into glucose. For performing many tasks, our body would require glucose.

Without glucose, it would not be possible for the cells in the body to perform activities like respiration and growth etc. By insulin hormone, glucose enters into the cells is known. Blood sugar spike refers to gradual increase in the concentration of the blood glucose levels in us. This spike would occur after consuming foods.

Persons who have high blood glucose levels in them or diabetes condition would show various symptoms like more thirst, frequent urination, blurry vision, tiredness etc

There are few foods present and by eating them we would not have a spike in our blood glucose levels at all. We can eat these foods without any fear.

Nuts consumption:
By eating nuts that are rich in fibres and low in carbohydrates etc our blood glucose levels would not increase. Therefore we can eat nuts without the fear of a spike in blood sugar levels. Fact is that by consuming nuts we could get the much needed vitamins, minerals etc. 

Beans consumption:
By eating beans rich in fibres we could feel full for a longer duration of time. The presence of dietary fibres plus high levels of proteins and minerals etc would make the black beans with low glycemic index score. Therefore, we could eat beans without the fear of a spike in the blood sugar levels.

Fruits consumption:
We could experience a spike in the blood sugar levels when we eat fruits like bananas rich in starch or eating dates rich in high sugars etc. It is good to eat citrus fruits. Eating berries, pears, kiwis etc would be superb and we can eat these without the fear of increase in blood sugars.

Eggs and dairy consumption:
Those who are diabetic could eat protein rich foods like eggs etc. The blood sugar levels would be controlled by eating eggs. By eating protein rich foods, we would feel full for a longer time. It is good to eat fermented products with regards to dairy products. It is important to avoid dairy substitutes like oat milk and sweetened variants etc.

Vegetables consumption:
The green leafy vegetables would provide us with the much needed vitamin C. It is known that diabetic persons lack this important vitamin. Intake of leafy greens such as kale, spinach rich in fibrbres, minerals, vitamins etc would help in the reduction of blood sugar levels.

Pasta consumption:
Those with blood sugar levels can eat pasta with low glycemic index. This food can be consumed in moderate amounts and it would not spike the blood sugar levels.
