Parents must stop giving these unhealthy foods to their kids!!

Parents give various types of foods for their kids and these foods would help in the growth as well as in the development of the kids. The truth is that parents sometimes provide unhealthy foods to their kids without even knowing that the foods are unhealthy for the kids. When the kids eat these unhealthy foods, then it could lead to several issues in them in the long run.

These below are the foods parents must avoid or stop giving to their children.

Avoid breakfast cereals:

The fact is that these breakfast cereals are not nutritious as they contain artificial colouring, flavouring plus highly processed grains etc. They also have excessive sugar in them and as a result the kids must not be given these foods.

Avoid potato chips:

For the growing kidneys, potato chips are harmful as they have excess salt in them. Therefore, the kids must not be given potato chips etc. The presence of too much oil could increase cholesterol levels.

Avoid frozen food items:

The presence of large amounts of trans- fat in the frozen foods is harmful as they could clog the arteries and lead to heart diseases etc. Examples of frozen foods are chips, peas, ice cream, fish fillets, bread and pizza etc.

Avoid packaged juices and soft drinks:

There are more chances of children getting type-2 diabetes if they drink soda or packaged fruit juices often. The excess amount of sugar in these juices is dangerous for your health.

Avoid biscuits, chocolates:

Kids could become obese if they eat foods like biscuits, chocolates etc. There are chances of kids getting type-2 diabetes.

Avoid fruit gummies:

Many parents give fruit gummies to their kids and this must be stopped. There is no nutritional value for these fruit gummies and it could result in cavities.

Avoid noodles:

It must be noted that noodles are low on nutrition and high in sodium and it is above the daily sodium requirement of the kid.

Avoid French fries:

The presence of unhealthy trans-fat plus calories in French fries would be harmful for ththe kids. Therefore, the parents must avoid them.
