Summer Flower Show commences in Kodaikanal!

The 59th Summer Festival Commenced today (Tuesday, 23rd May) at Kodaikanal, Dindigul district.
This summer festival is celebrated for 10 days!
On the occasion of the 59th Summer Festival, a flower show is being organised by the Department of Horticulture commencing today (Tuesday, 23rd May) This Flower Show will conclude on 29th May.
On behalf of the Department of Tourism, Summer Festival is being celebrated at Kodaikanal from today (Tuesday, 23rd May) until 2nd June.
On these occasions, various cultural programmes such as traditional rural cultural performances, traditional bravery contests, Boat Decoration Contest, Fishing competition, and Dog Show are also being organised!
It is traditional for a large number of tourists to visit here on this occasion not only from Dindigul District but also from other districts of Tamil Nadu, other states and from abroad as well!
