Not many of us would be aware of the fact that our eyes could reveal everything. Apart from being the mirror of our soul, eyes can also be the mirror of our health. It is possible to get detailed information regarding health by means of our bright eyes. If a person could detect these eye signs then he or she would be able to get treatment for the health issues at the earliest.

Various health issues that our eyes can reveal are

Diabetes:
Many persons would have blurry vision and this might be due to the presence of type-2 diabetes in them.  There would be noticeable specks of blood on the back of the eyes and this could be due to chronic blood sugar levels that would put strain on the blood vessels in the eyes. It must be taken into note that the presence of bloodshot in the eyes could reveal the presence of high blood sugar levels in us. If left untreated it might even lead to blindness.

Cancer:
Breast cancer could be revealed by our eyes. It is believed that when the cancer cells spread to various parts of the body then signs might even appear on the eyes. Sometimes, abnormal lesions or masses or tumours within the structures of the eyes like ulva could indicate that the cancerous cells have spread to eyes too. Person must always consult a doctor if he or she has blurry vision, floaters etc.

High cholesterol levels:
Truth is that high cholesterol levels in the blood could build up in the eyes. If iris shows white gray or blue ring, then it is clear that we might have high cholesterol levels. High cholesterol levels could result in serious issues like heart diseases and strokes etc.

Damaged retina:
In some persons, little pecks would move around the field of vision and these are termed as floaters. Retinal tear or retinal detachment could be shown by sudden increase in the number of floaters. The issue must be treated without fail or else it could damage the eyes.

Infection:
Corneal infection or infection in cornea is shown by a visible white spot. This would be present mostly in persons who wear contact lenses instead of glasses. Common causes of this infection are contaminated lenses due to bacteria or fungi. As a result of the infection, the person would have corneal scarring and pain etc.

Jaundice:
Jaundice could be indicated by the yellowness in the eyes. If there is an excess bilirubin present in the blood, then the person is said to have jaundice. Here, the liver would not be able to filter the compound properly then the amount of compound becomes more in the blood. This jaundice condition could also turn urine as well as skin yellowish in colour.

Lack of sleep:
Puffiness and reddish colour in the eyes could show the lack of enough sleep or sleep deprivation of a person. Sleep deprivation issues must be addressed or else it could lead to several other issues in us.
