Unforgiving sweltering summer is fast approaching now!!

The upcoming summer season in India can be harsh on the people. It is true that many of us don’t like the unbearable heat during the summer season. In this scenario, we must not only take care of our physical appearance in the summer season but also our overall well-being also. This would help us to overcome or avoid getting issues like heat strokes and dehydration etc. It is known that in the summer season due to heat and humidity we could have digestive based issues, skin issues etc and we must be well prepared to face the heat and humidity.

We can have better health in the summer season by these ways. They are

By drinking more water:
It is a must to carry a water bottle when you go out in the scorching sun. We must drink enough water throughout the day to compensate for the lost fluids from our body. By staying hydrated we would be able to beat the heat effectively. It would be good to drink fruit juices or coconut water etc also. With many options available now, it is essential that we must stay hydrated.

By moving the body:
The health of the heart would be maintained well by doing some physical activity or moving. Various activities like playing sports, or doing yoga or dancing or swimming etc would be superb for the heart health.

By getting a boost of nutrition:
It is very important to watch what we eat during the summer season. Instead of eating big heavy meals it is better to eat 3 to 4 small meals. It is true that by eating heavy meals we would feel lethargic and this would lead to lack of physical activity and decrease in overall health.

By looking after mental health:
Giving importance to mental health is very essential just like giving importance to physical health. Truth is that our mind and body are dependent on each other. The summer heat can be exhausting both mentally as well as physically. It is essential for the sake of mental health we must take regular breaks, de-stress and stay away from the negativity.

By sleeping well:
Full sleep is very important for our mental and for our physical health. Our mind and body would be able to recover during the summer season by sleeping well. It is necessary to follow sleep hygiene and maintain a sleep routine.

By indulging in favourite things:
It is natural that we all love to eat a variety of foods that are available. Hence, during the summer season we could have all the favourite foods. Point is that we must compulsorily follow the above mentioned to compensate for whwhat we eat.
