Want your liver health to be good, you must consume these foods without fail!!

As a powerhouse in the body, the liver plays a huge role in us and just similar to heart, lungs, brain etc liver is also an important organ. Liver is responsible for the production of proteins, carbohydrates and bile. Point is that the liver stores vitamins, minerals etc and breaks down toxins such as alcohol, medications etc. Hence, the liver is also called the powerhouse. Any issue in liver health could be dangerous for us. Therefore, we must ensure that liver health is good for our lives to be normal. 

It is necessary to eat a well balanced diet for the sake of liver health to be good. These below mentioned foods would be superb for liver health.

Consuming tea:

Tea is full of antioxidants and drinking a cup of tea would be superb for the liver. Enzymes and fat levels in the liver would become better by drinking black and green tea. It is believed that by drinking green tea oxidative stress gets cut back and liver fat would get reduced. Other fantastic benefits of drinking green tea are helps in weight loss, improves brain functions, prevents cardiovascular disease and reduces bad breath etc.

Consuming coffee:

It is possible to reduce the chances of getting liver disease by drinking coffee. Permanent liver damage or cirrhosis could be avoided by drinking coffee.

Consuming oats:

Rich in fibre content, intake of oats is good for liver health. Oats are rich in antioxidants and due to this the healthy liver recovery would get faster. In addition, oats would also slow down the death of the liver cells that are damaged. It is believed that other high fibre foods such as beans and grains etc are also good for liver health.

Consuming fruits:

A well balanced diet would include fruits also. By eating fruits, the liver would be in superb shape. The vitamin c present in citrus fruits like grapefruit and oranges etc would prevent fat build up in the liver.

Consuming vegetables:

By consuming cruciferous vegetables, we could avoid chronic diseases, enhance mental health plus improve liver health too. Examples are broccoli, cauliflower, spinach etc. Moreover, non alcoholic fatty liver disease could also be prevented by eating the cruciferous vegetables.

Consuming tofu:

Made of soy, intake of tofu could be of huge benefit for the liver. The fat build up in the liver would be reduced by consuming tofu. It must be noted that soy and tofu would be beneficial for liver health.  Examples of soy based foods are edamame, tempeh, miso, soybean, sprouts, soy nuts etc.

Consuming nuts:

Inflammation would be reduced by consuming nuts that are a healthy source of fats. Rich in vitamin E, intake of nuts would improve liver health also.

Consuming olive oil:

By consuming olive oil we could have a positive effect on our heart health and on metabolic health. Olive oil intake would lead to less fat accumulation in the liver and by this we would be able to avoid liver diseases etc. Hence, we must consume olive oil.
