These foods might be bitter to taste, but would provide numerous health benefits, never avoid them!!

We all like those foods that are good to taste and it could be either sweetish or saltish in taste.

From time to time, all of us crave for these above types of foods only and that is what we are made to love. There are also some people who love to eat bitter foods. Normally, we underrate the flavour and taste of bitter foods. Truth is that we all have different sensory levels but it is also possible to train our taste buds present on our tongues to eat bitter foods. Though they might be bitter to taste, these foods could provide us with plenty of health benefits also. From improving our eyesight to making our gut and liver healthy, bitter foods intake could play a huge role for us.

Various bitter foods that could provide us with many health benefits are

Kale intake:
The most nutrient rich food is kale belonging to the cabbage family. Kale has antioxidants such as quercetin and kaempferol and these could help us to avoid cancer and ageing. It must be noted that intake of kale could detoxify the body while fighting against the growth of tumors. Kale could either be consumed as salad with lemon or it could be added to soups.

Bitter gourd intake:
Most of us would hate consuming bitter gourd. For others, bitter gourd might not be necessary but for those who give importance to fitness intake of this bitter gourd could be fantastic. By eating bitter gourd that is rich in nutrients and antioxidants like vitamin A, C, potassium, folate etc, skin health could become good. In addition, it would also improve eyesight and reduce blood sugar levels in us. Bitter gourd could either be consumed as juice or as a vegetable cooked in olive oil.

Fenugreek seeds intake:
Loaded with minerals, vitamins, soluble fibres etc, fenugreek seeds are bitter to taste. Truth is that we could be free from constipation issues by having fenugreek seeds. Moreover, the blood sugar levels in us would get controlled. Intake of fenugreek seeds could also lower the cholesterol levels in us. This could help in keeping the heart in good shape.

Green tea intake:
Taste wise green tea intake might not be nice as it would be bitter only but for health purposes intake of green tea would be superb. Point is that by drinking green tea, we could lose excess weight and our immunity levels would become superb. The presence of polyphenols and antioxidants in green tea could help us to avoid cancers also.

Brinjal or eggplant intake:
Brinjal or eggplant or aubergine are violet in colour and have plenty of nutrients.  It is important to note that eggplant is rich in fibres and hence by consuming this we could lose weight and have controlled sugar levels.

Dark chocolate intake:
The bitter type of taste of the dark chocolate would make many not eat dark chocolates when compared to other types of chocolates. Truth is that dark chocolates could provide many benefits for us. Minerals like zinc, copper, iron, magnesium etc in the dark chocolates would widen the blood vessels and would provide relief in inflammation.

Dandelion greens intake:
Our blood would get purified by dandelion green intake plus it helps in the digestion. We could be free from the issue of piles and gallstones.
