Your constipation issue could worsen if you do these, be careful

In these days of face paced lifestyle, many of us suffer from the issue of constipation and find it difficult in passing stools. Inside our intestines, the stools would become hard and they do not come out easily. A person with constipation issues would show symptoms like bloating, stomach pain, excess belching etc. It is said that intake of unhealthy food plus lack of exercising could lead to constipation issues in us. So, please be careful.

If you have constipation issues, then you must avoid doing these.

Avoid intake of processed foods:
Processed foods are not good for our health and when a person has constipation issues then he or she must stay away from eating these foods. It must be taken into account that processed foods or junk foods have high fat content in them and would slow down the digestion process. We could get more discomfort die to this. In addition, the presence of fructans and carbohydrates in these foods could destroy our natural digestive processes.

Avoid being a couch potato:
Many of us when we feel full just lie down on bed but this must not be done. Truth is that lack of physical activity would slow down the food movement in the digestive tract. We must engage in some form of low physical activity and by this we would be able to pass stools easily. Physical activities like climbing up and down the stairs would be beneficial.

Avoid intake of dairy products:
If a person has already got constipation issues then he or she must avoid consuming dairy products. It is known that dairy products could make us feel bloated. It is revealed that bloating could be caused due to the lack of enzyme lactase in the gut. This enzyme plays a huge role in breaking down lactose in dairy products into simple sugars absorbed by the small intestines. Persons with constipation issues must avoid consuming yoghurt, milk, curd etc.

Avoid taking pain killers:
It is mentioned that several medicines including the over-the-counter drugs could make us feel uncomfortable. Truth is that the bowel movement would become difficult as the contractions of GI would be slowed down when a person with constipation issues consumes these medicines.

Avoid dehydration:
The constipation issue would get worsened when a person having this issue drinks alcohol. Point is that alcohol is diuretic and intake of alcohol could lead to loss of body fluids.
