In your KETO Diet, please include these non-starchy veggies compulsory

For the health to be good, it is important that we must consume a balanced diet with vegetables.

It is known that all vegetables are not the same in providing nutrients for us. Non- starchy vegetables are low in calories and hence those in keto diet must eat non-starchy vegetables only.

To increase the metabolic rate for effective management of weights, it is important that an ideal keto diet must be low in calories but high in fats. It must be taken into note that a keto diet has got 80 percent of fats and little to nil carbohydrates.

The keto diet reduces our appetite, increases the level of good cholesterol, reduces blood sugar levels etc. Vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, corn, squashes etc must be avoided by us when we are on a keto diet. Water dense vegetables with lots of fibre content would be superb.

By Adding Zucchini: These could make a great substitute for carbohydrates as they are low in calories. Zucchini is full of fibres and antioxidants and by consuming this we could feel full for a longer time. It is known that zucchini are rougher and dry than cucumbers.

By Adding Kale: The presence of various nutrients like vitamin A, C and K plus proteins, antioxidants etc in kale make them a perfect vegetable to be added in the keto diet. Low in carbohydrates, kale could keep our skin and hair healthy.

By Adding Broccoli: Being a rich source of fibre and protein, broccoli could provide us with many health benefits. Therefore, this broccoli could be added to the keto diet.

By Adding Bell Peppers: In recent times, many fitness enthusiasts have been consuming bell peppers as they are low in calories with great taste. Adding bell peppers to the keto diet would be superb.
