Are you aware of these lesser known causes for bad breath?

Having bad breath could be quite irritating for any person. Poor dental hygiene and the food we consume contribute to this bad breath issue in us.

Otherwise called halitosis, bad breath could be treated effectively by following  proper dental hygiene such as brushing teeth twice every day, by regular flossing etc.

These below mentioned are the lesser known reasons for bad breath in us.

By intake of high sulphur foods:
Foods like onion, garlic etc have high amounts of sulphur in them. It is said that by eating these foods we could get bad breath and sometimes bad smelling sweat too.

By intake of ketogenic foods:
Our body would use protein or fats as a source of energy when we are on keto diet. It is believed that keto diet is Atkins diet and they could result in issues like bad breath etc.

Having dry mouth:
Those having dry mouths would have less saliva in their mouths. This could lead to less fluid circulation that is responsible for cleaning out food from the mouth. The presence of bacteria in the mouth could result in bad breath.

By smoking:
Those who smoke frequently would have bad breath in them. The oral hygiene and health gets spoiled by smoking.
