TASMAC shops to remain closed tomorrow (23rd May)

As the counting of votes following the recently held elections is scheduled tomorrow (Thursday, 23rd May), the Election Commission has announced that all the TASMAC shops will remain closed on this day.
The Tamil Nadu Chief Election officer Satyapada Sahu shared in this regard:
The parliamentary elections for the 38 constituencies in Tamil Nadu and the by-elections for the 22 Legislative Assembly constituencies were conducted on 18th April. The counting of votes is scheduled to commence at 8.00 AM on Thursday, 23rd May. Due to this, all the wine/alcoholic beverage shops will remain closed on this day.
