Engineering counselling likely in July

Arrangements are being done to release the engineering counselling rank list by the last week of June.
For the very first time, online counselling is introduced for engineering admission. Hence Anna University has decided to wrap up certificate verification ahead of counselling procedures. For this, across Tamil Nadu, 42 centres are set up including Anna University in Chennai where certificate verification process would took place between 8th and 14th June.
For students who were unable to get certificate verification done during this phase, on behalf of Anna University, one more session of verification took place for 3 days till 17th June (yesterday) and the entire process got over. Totally, a sum of 1,59,631 students have applied for engineering studies.
Following this, the rank list shall be announced by the last week of June and online counselling shall take place in the first week of July.
