Star Vijay launches the second season of Bigg Boss Tamil

After several promotions and buzz finally the official launch of Bigg Boss 2 was made yesterday announcing all the participants entering the house for 100 days. Star Vijay retains Kamal Haasan as the host of the show with seventeen contestants (including a surprise guest) with majority of people from media and movie arena.
Final list of Bigg Boss season 2 contestants:
- Yashika Anand: Irattu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu fame Yashika came as the first contestant of the season. She is a latest glamour buzz known for several controversial speeches on the promotion programs of her debut movie.
- Ponnambalam: A known stuntman and actor of Tamil film industry, Muthu and Naataamai being the hallmark of his lengthy career.
- Mahath: Mahath was launched by Venkat Prabhu in the 2011 blockbuster Mangatha. After that he appeared in several important projects.
- Daniel Annie Pope: His famous dialogue in the movie Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, “Friendu..love matteru..”, made him famous all around the comedy zone of tamil cinema, followed by many comic roles.
- Vaishnavi: She is the Grand Daughter of S. Viswanath, being a journalist and video Jockey marking her reality show debut in Big Boss season 2.
- Janani Iyer: Introduced by Bala in his flick Avan Ivan pairing Vishal, She had done some decent roles in many films such as Thegidi and Adhe Kangal.
- Ananth Vaidyanathan: Airtel Super Singer fame Ananth Vaidyanathan is a well-known music teacher and coach for the contestants of the program. He had done a small role in the film Avan Ivan as well.
- Ramya NSK: She is the granddaughter of the legendary comedian NSK and a renowned singer famous for many western type numbers in various Tamil Cinema.
- Sendrayan: He is a character artist well known for the roles in Polladhavan and Moodar Koodam.
- Riythvika: She is an actress who had done pivotal roles in the movies such as Paradesi, Madras and Kabali. Madras movie gained more focus on her talent and now entering into the television topper, Big Boss season 2.
- Mumtaz: She is well known for her glamour roles in Tamil cinema with some of the mainstream sub-characters in the movies such as Kushi, Chocolate and so on.
- Bajali: He is often remembered as Dhaadi (Beard) Balaji and an in-house artist of Star Vijay Television doing multiple positions such as hosting, judging and performing in some of the famous shows of the channel. Some of the Balaji’s family issues gained media attention when he is accused for harassing his wife.
- Mamathi Chari: Vanakkam Thamizha was once a famous morning show that dealt with various updates socially and entertainment wise, hosted by Mamathi Chari. After a long absence from media she did some minor roles in Tamil Televsion series.
- Nithya: The above mentioned contestant, Dhaadi balaji’s wife and the whole big boss fans are waiting for the controversial combination of Balaji and his wife Nithya who is one of the contestant.
- Sharik Hassan: He is the son of famous celebrity couple Uma Riaz and Riaz Khan.
- Aishwarya Dutta: From West Bengal entering into cinema and premiering as one of the Bigg Boss 2 contestant, she marked her debut in the Tamil movie, Tamilukku en ondrai azhuthavum”.
- Oviya: Yes! She is already on the e top tier of wanted Tamil actress gaining immense popularity on the Bigg Boss season 2. But she left the show half way as her mental illness and depression grew stronger inside. Now re-entering the house as surprise guest people should wait for knowing her part in the second season.
