Special camp for administering polio drops on 2nd April

The special camp for administering polio drops to children below the age of 5 years is organised every year throughout the country.
For this year (2017), the 1st phase special camp is scheduled on 2nd April and the 2nd phase special camp is scheduled on 30th April.
The special camps are being arranged in all government hospitals, primary health centres, urban primary health centres, supplementary health centres, nutrition centres, schools, panchayat offices, bus and railway stations, and mobile polio drop camps, and transportation camps.
Office staff from various government departments, rotary club members, and voluntary service persons are engaged in these camps.
Please note that irrespective of the number of times a child has been administered polio drops earlier, it must be given the additional administration of polio drops this time as well.
