Liquor shops closed for 2 days - Chithra Pournami celebrations at Tiruvannamalai temple

Action has been initiated to close the liquor shops functioning in Tiruvannamalai and its neighborhood for 2 days on the 4th of May (Thursday, tomorrow) and the day after tomorrow (Friday, the 5th of May).
According to this, Tiruvannamalai District Collector Murugesh has announced that the liquor shop located near the statue of the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Kamarajar, the liquor shop located on the banks of Lake Vengikkal, the liquor shops located in Nallanpalayam, the liquor bars functioning in the private hotels, and the stores for ex-military personnel will all remain closed.
