Peak summer hasnt yet arrived but 100 degrees has already arrived in 5 cities in TN!!

This is just March, but the temperatures have gone above 100 degrees already!!
According to Mr. Senthamarai Kannan,director RMC, Chennai in a press statement it was clear that above the southern parts of India in the lower atmospheric layers there is an area where east direction winds and west direction winds meet. He added that due to this reason there would be likely to be rains in TN, Puducherry and Karaikal on 28th of March.
As per the recorded temperatures till 5:30pm yesterday, 38 degrees Celsius or 100 degrees Fahrenheit was recorded in 5 cities like Vellore, Namakkal, Madurai, Trichy and in Erode with 102 Degrees Fahrenheit.
