Prospects for rains in the next 3 hours – Meteorological Centre

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has issued a weather forecast notification, stating that there are prospects of rain in the following districts for the next 3 hours: Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, Ranippettai, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Thirupathur, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Erode, Salem, Kallakkurichi, Villupuram, Perambalur, Ariyalur, Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, Nagappattinam, Karur, Namakkal, Theni, Dindigul, Nilgiri, Coimbatore, Thenkasi, Thoothukkudi, and Thiruvannamalai.

Regarding the Chennai Metro City, the notification mentions the prospects of mild rain in 1 or 2 places for the next 3 hours.
