New at Chennai Airport: facility to identify individual luggage items!

A new facility has been introduced in the Chennai Metro City Airport to identify if any banned material is available in the luggage from the lounge of the flight passengers!
The officials of the Chennai Airport Administration officials shared in tn this regard:
"The general procedure is for the flight passengers to book their luggage at the Airline Company`s counter. These items will be checked by the Security System and then transported to the plane.
While the baggage is checked by the security system, in case certain banned items are identified in the baggage, the concerned flight passenger will be called to check and remove the banned item!
Further, presently, a new facility has been introduced by which flight passengers can identify their baggage items right from the waiting hall or lounge!
The flight passengers can now identify through the video!
As such, the luggage items of the flight passengers will be identified and checked and with the permission of the flight passengers, banned items if any are found will be removed!"
As such, this new facility will a lot of time for the flight passengers!
