GCC permits conducting public events at Chennai Shenoy Nagar Amma Auditorium! Rent per day: Rs. 228440/-!

The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has announced permission to conduct public events at the Chennai Metro City`s Amma Auditorium!
In a notification released by the Greater Chennai Corporation in this regard, it is mentioned:
"Amma Arangam (Auditorium), an auditorium with all facilities to conduct events, located at the 8th Cross Street Shenoy Nagar, under Anna Nagar Zone, is now ready to let this place for the citizens to conduct their family events and other occasions and also arts & cultural events and celebrations organized by the schools and colleges including the prize distribution for the sports competitions, organising exhibitions/Fairs and other felicitation events!
Permission is also given to conduct arts & cultural events organized by different agencies and registrations to conduct the same are in progress!
AS SUCH, THE CITIZENS CAN FULLY AVAIL THEMSELVES OF THIS LATEST FACILITY!
As per above, for conducting events at the Amma Auditorium, Shenoy Nagar, the rent per day is fixed at Rs. 228440/- and for half-a-day, the rent is Rs. 114220/-!not including the GST, Electricity Charges, and Cleaning Charges!
Registrations are now being made!
Apart from this, on days other than the Auspicious Wedding Days, permission is given to conduct events on a commercial aspect such as Book Fairs, Women Self-Help Group Handicrafts Exhibition, and Review Meetings by Private Organizations!"
