Special buses to Thiruvannamalai until today (7th December)!

Special buses are being operated from several places including Chennai Metro City to Thiruvannamalai.
In a notification released in this regard by the Tamil Nadu State Government Minister for Transport, S. S. Sivasankar, it is mentioned:
"On the Occasion of the Grans Thirukkarthigai Deepam Festival, 2700 special buses are being operated from various locations of Tamil Nadu State to Thiruvannamalai until 7TH DECEMBER!
Additional special buses are being operated from Chennai Tamil Nadu Express Transport Corporation, Villupuram, Kumbakonam, Salem, Coimbatore, Madurai, and Thirunelveli Transport Corporation to Thiruvannamalai.
From Chennai Metro City, special buses are operated to Thiruvannamalai from the Koyambedu and Tambaram Bus termini!
As the devotees tend to gather in very early mornings, the District Administration of Thiruvannamalai has appealed to the public and related persons to prevent any severe traffic jams!
Special bus terminals have been set up. In this regard, the officials have appealed to the transport administrators that the special buses be arranged as per the current demand until the number of waiting passengers reduce!"
The minister further informed that the required officers have been deployed for monitoring the transport operations!
