The famous Meenakshi temple belonging to Madurai has turned many heads now with sensational money collections through hundials alone in the last 15 years.
It was brought to light by the Rights to Information Act that the hundial collections alone at this temple was Rs 100 crores. Not only this famous temple is a spiritual symbol of Madurai city but also an ancient pride.
