When the shadow of the Planet Earth falls on the Moon, the Moon cannot get direct light from the Sun.

When the Sun, the Mon, and the Planet Earth fall in a straight line, an eclipse occurs.  In this period the glow of the Moon will be lesser and we call this a Lunar Eclipse.

During the Lunar Eclipse, the Moon comes directly opposite Sun. the Lunar Eclipse will be visible only on Full Moon Day. The Mon fully disappears under the shadow of the Planet Earth and falls on it, it is known as a total Lunar Eclipse.

As the shadow of the Planet Earth falls on a large area, this eclipse can be seen in several parts of the world.

This Lunar Eclipse occurs as per the Indian Standard Time from 2.39 PM until 6.19 PM.

During this period, the Total Lunar Eclipse occur from 3.46 PM until 5.11 PM,
