Announcement for admission to Pre-KG, and LKG classes in schools on the occasion of Vijayadasami!

Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) schools function throughout the country under the control of the Ministry of Education of the Central Government

Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools follow the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education of the Central Government). Only reasonable fees are charged in Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools!

As for admission to these Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools, priority is given

To the children of the Central and State Government Employees, Employees of Public Sector Undertakings, and the military personnel.

These are offered to ordinary citizens if there are any vacant seats. Until now, admissions to Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools were available only from the 1st Standard to the +2 (12th Standard).

Under the New Education Policy (NEP), the minimum age for admission to the 1st Standard, which was 5, had been increased in the current academic year to 6.

Subsequently, Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG classes are conducted in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools under the name `Palvatika`!

In this regard, the Principal of the Chennai IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Kendriya Vidyalaya School, has released a notification! In this, it is mentioned:

"Under the Palvatika 1st Section, children in the age group 3-4, and under the Palvatika 2ND Section, children in the age group 3-5 and the Palvatika 3rd Section, children under the age of 6 are being admitted in Kendriya Vidyalaya.

Application forms can be downloaded from the website: https://chennaiiit.kvs.ac.in/

Applications can be taken and filled up and submitted directly at the Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools!

Applications can be registered until 10th October from 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM.

Admission to the Palvatika Section-1 will be made as per the Compulsory Right for Education Act.

For the above classes, a quarterly fee of Rs. 1500/- will be collected per student. As regards admission for other classes, interested citizens can contact the telephone numbers 73051 60907 OR 971058 8122."
