The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has ordered that the motors installed in residential areas to pump out the stagnant water on the roads MUST be kept in `ready-to-operate` mode! GCC has also ordered its officials to confirm the free flow of stagnant rainwater to the canals. The Greater Chennai Corporation Officials inform us that the rainwater drainage system work is in full swing!
