New guidelines released for eligibility to get Best Teacher (Dr. Radhakrishnan) Award!

The Tamil Nadu State Government Department of Education has been divided into 38 Revenue Districts.
386 teachers from these 38 districts are to be selected for the `Best Teacher` Award - Dr. Radhakrishnan Award - (Nallasiriyar Virudhu) for the Academic Year 2021-22 from the above 38 revenue districts!
As such, the Department of Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has released the guidelines as to how to select the award winning teachers.
For this purpose, a committee is being formed headed by the headed by the District Primary Education Officer at the District Level and another committee will be formed headed by the Commissioner of the School Education Board.
The salient points of the guideline for selection of `Best Teacher` award-winning teachers are as under:
Task of Teaching: Eligible teachers MUST apply in the specific form. The candidates (teachers) who apply will be interviewed by the District Committee and assessed.
A list of the teachers selected by the District Level Committee MUST be submitted by the District Level Committee before 14 th August. The list will be scrutinized by the State Level Committee. After scrutiny, the State Level Committee has to prepare the final list of the selected teachers.
All teachers in the selected list must have worked at least for 5 years as teacher!
Note that this award will be given to the teachers who teach in the classrooms only!
Please note that TEACHERS WHO ARE WORKING IN THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY!
Recommended teachers MUST NOT have committed any crimes or must not have undergone any disciplinary action! The teacher must be a honest person and a a straight-forward in public life! The teacher must be interested in offering public service!
He must be efficient and striving for reducing the absenteeism of the students or dropping out in the middle of the course, admission of new students, increasing the success percentage in the examinations, improving the learning ability of the academically backward students!
NOTE THAT TEACHERS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF POLITICAL PARTIES OR INDULGING IN POLITICS MUST NOT BE RECOMMENDED!
In this regard, various views have been expressed such as the teachers who tend to approach the profession of teaching as a commercial avenue and earning by tuition classes and teachers who do not follow the conduct code MUST NOT BE RECOMMENENDED!
