Tamil Nadu State Minister for the Hindu Religious Endowment Sekar Babu inaugurated the equipment for producing water from air at the famous Chennai Mylapore Lord Kapaleeswarar Temple!
After inaugurating the equipment to produce drinking water from the air, the minister for the Hindu Religious Endowment had a session with the press reporters. He shared:
"The State Government of Tamil Nadu has undertaken various initiatives to enhance the facilities/amenities for the devotees who visit the temples and there is a no different opinion on this!
Further, healthy clean drinking water and toilet facilities have been mandatory for the devotees who visit temples! It is also imperative that the temple staff MUST interact smoothly with the visiting devotees!
As setting an ideal example, equipment producing water from the air has been installed in the famous Chennai Mylapore Lord Kapaleeswarar Temple! This equipment can produce 500 litres of potable water every day! This will answer the drinking water needs of the visiting devotees!!
The minister shared further that in the next phase, similar equipment will be installed at the Chennai Goddess Kalikambal Temple If this proves beneficial in the long-range, the facility would be gradually extended to the other temples!
He informed that the government is taking action on the affairs of the Chidambaram Lord Sri Natarajan`s temple.
He informed that the temple administration of the Chidambaram Lord Sri Natarajan`s temple has asked for some time to explain the status in reply to the notice served to them by the Tamil Nadu State Government Department of Hindu Religious Endowment! The next course of action will be taken based on the explanation given by the temple administration!
