Chennai to get rains with thunder and lightning!!

Chennai based RMC or Regional Meteorological Centre has mentioned that today 30th June 2022 there would be heavy rains in 5 districts of the state of Tamil Nadu.
There have been moderate rains in Tamil Nadu as well as in Puducherry now due to the speed changes in the westerlies. Heavy rains have been lashing certain places also now. Today, in Tamil Nadu and in Karaikal, Puducherry etc there would be light to moderate rains along with thunder and lightning. Districts such as The Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Theni and Dindigul would receive heavy rains in one or two places. This was as per RMC.
Starting from tomorrow, one or two places in TN, Karaikal and Puducherry would receive light to moderate rains and this would be till 3rd of July. For the next 24hours, it would be a little cloudy in Chennai and the city would receive light to moderate rains with lightning and thunder in some places.
