For joining the second year of B.E and B. Tech courses directly in TN - Eligible students can apply now!!

The Directorate of Technical Education or DOTE has now stated that those students who are interested to join the second year directly in B.E and B. Tech degree courses can apply.
Information is that students who have completed polytechnic courses and bachelors degree in science or B. Sc can apply for the direct admission to the second year for the engineering courses in TN.
From this year onwards, the eligible and interested students can also directly join the second year in B.E or B. Tech programmes in the popular Anna University. It must be noted that those students who have applied for the direct admission to the second year engineering courses would be allotted engineering seats after counselling. This was also mentioned by the Directorate of Technical Education.
