Planning a trip to a native place for Deepavali?? You can reserve from tomorrow, 23rd June!!

The Officials of IRCTC (Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation) have informed us that citizens planning to travel to native places for the celebration of Deepavali, can book the tickets in advance from tomorrow (Thursday, 23rd June)!!
IRCTC has introduced the facility to book ONLINE the tickets 120 days in advance of the date of travel!!
This year (2022), the Deepavali festival falls on the 24th of October (Monday). As such, most citizens will plan to travel on 21st October to their native places to celebrate the festival of Deepavali!
As such, the citizens planning to travel on 21st October can book their tickets from tomorrow (Thursday, 23rd June)! Those who plan to travel on 22nd October can book the tickets for 24th June. Those who plan to travel on 23rd October can book their tickets for 25th June!
In this regard, the officials of IRCTC shared:
“Citizens planning to travel to their native places to celebrate Deepavali 2 days in advance can book their tickets from tomorrow 23rd June!
As the impact/extent of the coronavirus pandemic has reduced considerably as of now, we expect the citizens to travel in large numbers to visit their native places to celebrate Deepavali!
As a majority of travellers book their tickets ONLINE, we have enhanced the quality of our website services recently! We are continuously monitoring the smooth functioning of the website without any issues!”
