As summer vacation has been declared for schools and colleges, there are teeming crowds of devotees, especially during weekends in Tirupati temple!

Indeed, the number of devotees is more generally during weekends. However, as summer vacation is in progress for most schools and colleges, there has been a very sharp increase in the number of devotees visiting Tirupathi on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays! As there is a phenomenal increase in the number of devotees during weekends, VIP Break Darshan has been cancelled!

The present situation is that on Saturdays, the devotees need to stand in long queues for 12-13 hours to have the Darshan of their favourite Lord Venkateswara!

Though the devotees are arranged to stay in the 33 godowns in the Vaiguntam Complex and sent on queues there are queues extending more than 3 km of the devotees waiting for the Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara!!!

As there is a substantial increase in the number of devotees visiting Tirupathi,  on the weekdays, an average of 70000 devotees have Darshan of the Lord Venkateswara! It is learnt that the Hundi collection per day is Rs. 4 Crores on average!
