Any changes to be done to the ration card? Grievance address meeting tomorrow in Chennai Metro City: Avail this opportunity!

A ration card grievance address camp is being organised tomorrow (Saturday, 14th May) in all the 19 Zonal Deputy Commissioner Offices in Chennai Metro City.
The State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that in order address the grievances of the ration-card holding citizens, a grievance addressing camp will be conducted in each circle with various services such as carrying out changes in the ration cards, issue of fresh application forms to apply for a new ration card etc., in the Public Distribution System.
As such, the ration card grievance address camp for May 2022 to hear the grievances from the ration cardholders and solve them, a grievance address camp is scheduled to be organised tomorrow (Saturday, 14th May) in all the 19 Zonal Deputy Commissioner Offices in Chennai Metro City.
Addition of names in the ration cards, removal of names, change of address, registration of cell phone number or changed cell phone number, registration of new applications for ration card registration of applications for replacement of the existing ration card, etc., will be undertaken in this grievance address camp.
Further, action will be undertaken to issue new identity cards for the senior citizens, differently-abled citizens and patients who cannot visit the ration shop to procure the required ration items!
If there are any complaints regarding the activities in the Public Distribution shops (PDS), or any complaints about any of the products sold in private-owned shops/supermarkets, the citizens can inform the details in this grievance address camp. Receiving them, immediate corrective action will be initiated.
