Sabarimalai Lord Ayyappa Temple Corridors to open today evening – 14th May! Special pujas are to be performed until 19th May!
The temple corridors of the famous Lord Ayyappa Temple in Sabarimalai are scheduled to open today for the special poojas to be performed during the Tamil/Malayalam calendar month of Vaikasi!
Special poojas will be performed in this Tamil/Malayalam calendar month of Vaikasiuntil 19th of May night!
At 5.30 PM today (Saturday Melsanthi Parameswaran Namboodiri will open the temple corridors and lit the Deepamm. There will be no other poojas to be performed. The temple corridors will be closed by 9.00 PM.
The temple corridors will be opened the next day early morning at 5.00 Am and the regular poojas including Abhishekham, and ‘Nei Abhishekhma’ (Ghee – or clarified butter) will be performed.
‘Padi Pooja’ will be performed daily at 7.30 PM until 19th May.
On 19th May at 10.00 PM, the temple corridors will be closed.
From tomorrow (Sunday, 15th May) for the next 5 days, devotees will be allowed through ONLINE registration.
The ‘Spot Booking’ facility has been arranged at Nilakkal.
