Flower Show at Ooty Rose Park until tomorrow 14th May!

When the Tamil people plan a holiday trip, their first choice is Nilgiris! One can enjoy seeing Mother Nature at her most colourful best!
A large number of tourists, from other states as well as other foreign countries, visit Ooty (Udhagamandalam in Tamil)!
In this scenario, one of the most popular shows in South Asia, the flower show in the Ooty Rose Park is being organised from Saturday (14th May) to Sunday (15th May).
Ooty’s Rose Park was inaugurated during the Flower Show conducted in the year 1995 to mark the 100th Flower Show organised here!
This Rose Park is maintained by the Department of Gardening.
31500 rose plants have been planted here. The Rose Flower garden has 5 tiers and covers 4 Hectares!
With the well-known Flower Park, presently with blooming roses, this year’s Flower Show is being organised for 2 days on Saturday (14th May) and Sunday (15th May).
It may be noted that this Flower Show is being organised after a gap of 2 years due to the raging coronavirus pandemic. As such, after a rather long gap, the tourists are eagerly awaiting the grand flower show.
On this special occasion, special arrangements are being made on a large scale!
