Latest regarding the summer vacations for the TN govt school students!!

On Friday, 13th of May 2022, the students belonging to the government schools in Tamil Nadu would be bidding goodbye to their classmates and others. These students would be having summer holidays from 14th May and the vacations would continue till 12th of June. On 13th June, the schools would reopen for the academic year 2022-23.It is mentioned that both students as well as the teachers handling primary and middle school classes would be having summer holidays.
The teachers handling high and higher secondary classes in the government schools would not have vacations and they would be involved in board exam paper evaluation. As per Mr. S. Mars, Chennai chief education officer no training programme has been planned for the teachers this year as the vacation would be short.
It is known that the board exams for classes 10, 11 and 12 would go on till the end of May month and paper evaluation would be expected to continue till the first half of June month. It must be noted that many private schools concluded their final term earlier and the schools were shut down for a summer break for the primary and middle school students at the end of April.
Board examinations have been going on for the CBSE class 10 and 12 students and the teachers handling senior classes would continue their work through the month. The principal of Prasan Vidhya Mandhir, Lakshmi Prabha, pointed out that after the board exam gets over the teachers would be involved in the paper correction duty.
