Thiruvannamalai: District Collector permits devotees undertaking Girivalam!

The District Collector of Thiruvannamalai has permitted the devotees to undertake Girivalam Taking a circular trip around the bottom of the Thiruvannamalai Mountain and praying and then having a Darshan of Lord Arunachaleswarar!
It is very notable this permission for the devotees to undertake Girivalam resumed after A LONG GAP OF 2 YEARS – DUE TO THE RAGING WAVES OF THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC!
As a precautionary step, the District Collector of Thiruvannamalai has appealed to the devotees and the citizens to strictly adhere to the guidelines of wearing face masks and keeping social distance and undertake Girivalam with full safety measures!
