Ayurvedic Diet Can Control Blood Glucose Levels

Ayurveda is one of the ancient medical approaches to treat any disease, and when it comes to diabetes, there is a unique system of food intake to control glucose levels in the body. 

The most nourishing foods in an Ayurvedic diet include:

Spices like black pepper, ginger, cloves, rock salt, turmeric, etc.

Fruits are guava, lemon, pomegranate, oranges, mango, and figs. 

Grains such as millet, oats, brown rice, etc.

Root vegetables like  butternut, sweet potatoes, and winter squash

Nuts and seeds such as almonds, cashews, and pine nuts, are very much useful to the body

Some are not encouraged to intake foods like healthy fats and honey for diabetes patients.

During winter: Diabetic patients are not recommended to intake warm weather foods like raw vegetable salads, cooked grains, and salty foods. To increase immunity, use ghee spices so that they can warm up the body. 

During Spring: try to avoid foods like fatty foods, salty foods, and sour items. It is better to eat foods like little meat, fruits, green plants, warming spices and you eat fatty foods.

During summer: You can eat naturally sweet foods, dry fruits. Lighter cool you can consume. Less hot foods and take only fresh foods. Cucumber and watermelon is the best food during summer. Anything that eats during summer should be within the limit. 

According to the season, you have to maintain foods and you have to keep in mind that suggested foods should be taken to maintain health. Diabetes is the gate open for all health problems so you must consider eating foods. Try to have a check-up weekly once to know whether sugar levels are perfectly under the proper level or not.   Ayurveda is the best way not only to maintain your glucose levels but also to cure diabetes.
