A sensational record set in TN is now grabbing the attention!

The vaccination for Coronavirus infection has been going on in Tamil Nadu for some time and many are getting vaccinated. On Friday, more than 10 crores doses have been administered by TN to its people. This has grabbed the attention of many now.
The health minister Mr. M. Subramaniam expressed his views and spoke about the presence of the availability of over 92 lakh Covid-19 vaccination doses in stock for the 23rd mega vaccination camp on Saturday. He was busy reviewing the arrangements at the DMS complex yesterday. The health minister then explained that after other states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, MP, UP and West Bengal, the state of TN had administered more than 10 crores of vaccination for the citizens. It is learnt that as many as 100030346 persons have been administered with Covid-19 vaccination till now.
It was in the month of January 2021 the Covid-19 vaccination drive was initiated in Tamil Nadu. In the previous government, till 6th May 6328407 persons were vaccinated. In this new government, the vaccination drive was increased and more people were vaccinated.
Information collected was that in TN atleast 91.54% have received their first Vaccination dose and 72.62% have received both the doses. About 89% of the children between age 15 and 18 have been administered with the first dose and 47.17percent have got the second dose after 28 days. In TN, for the precautionary or booster vaccination dose, a total of 8.45 lakh people are eligible and out of those 6.37lakhs have been vaccinated.
