Yesterday, 27th January 2022, Secretariat in Chennai was buzzing with activities. The chief minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. M.K. Stalin took part in a meeting with various officials of the health and revenue departments etc regarding the Coronavirus infection control measures plus relaxations in lockdown etc. In the evening, the chief minister shed light on several important decisions that were taken during the meeting.
Beginning from 1st of February the students belonging to classes 1 to 12 would have direct physical classes in the schools. Except those colleges that have been operating as Covid care centers, other colleges would be resuming their daily activities and permission has been given. It is known that the students of schools and colleges have been given holidays till 31st of January. Night curfew in TN (from 10pm to 5am) has been withdrawn from 28th January onwards and there would not be a complete lockdown on 30th of January 2022.
Places of worship like temples, churches and mosques would be reopened once again from Today onwards. Earlier it was announced that from 1st February all the places of worship would be reopened on all the days for the sake of devotees. This announcement comes into effect from today onwards.
