Kumbhabhishekham at Vadapalani Lord Muruga Temple: devotees permitted! Long queues for Darshan right from early morning today!

Following the Holy Kumbhabhishekham (rededication of the temple of renovation) of the Vadapalani Temp-l of Lord Muruga, which was performed yesterday (Sunday, 23rd January) without devotees being permitted, the devotees have been permitted the very next day – today (Monday, 24th January) from the early morning!
Kumbhabhishekham was performed yesterday when the temple was rededicated after a gap of 14 years! However, due to the raging third wave of the coronavirus, the devotees were NOT ALLOWED to participate on this sacred occasion!
In this situation, with the temple administration had announced that devotees will be allowed for Darshan from today (Monday, 24th January) until 27th January, there was a teeming crowd of devotees in the temple right from the early morning at 5.00 AM!
As ‘ Mandala Poojai’ is scheduled to be performed during the next 48 days, the devotees have been standing in long queues, waiting for a longer duration, and have the Darshan of the Lord Muruga1
The queue of the devotees extended right from the temple to Arcot Road! As the crowd was excessive, more than 100 police personnel have been deployed for safety.
Meanwhile, it has been announced by the temple administration that THERE WILL BE NO PERMISSION FOR SPECIAL DARSHAN TODAY (Monday, 24th January)!
