Information regarding the details of expenses for a medical graduation course!
- It may be noted that the ONLINE application for pursuing medical graduate courses commenced yesterday (Sunday, 19th December).
- It has been announced that the last date for submission of applications is 10th January 2022.
- It is traditional for including the details of the course costs in the guidebook released every year for the successful candidates joining the graduate medical courses of MBBS & BDS.
- As per this, the yearly education fees charged by the medical colleges for the graduate medical courses of MBBS & BDS IS Rs.13,610/-.
- The fee for joining the ESI Medical College in KK Nagar, Chennai Metro City is Rs. 1 Lakh!
- For the government quota seats in the self-financed medical colleges, the academic fees for MBBS courses vary from Rs. 3.85 Lakhs to Rs. 4 Lakhs! For the BDS course, it is Rs. 2.5 Lakhs.
- The candidate has to participate in the counselling session, select the college for joining, and in case failing to join the college within the specified date, the candidate needs to pay a penalty!
- In case the candidate leaves the course in between, a fee of Rs. 1 Lakh to Rs. 10 Lakhs has to be paid. The details of the exact amount, depending on the time of leaving after joining the course, will be released on the official website.
