The last solar eclipse for 2021 is to occur today (Saturday, 4th December).

A solar eclipse occurs when the Sun, the Moon, and the Earth are in a straight line.

It is informed that todays full solar eclipse will be visible only in Antarctica!

Further, this full solar eclipse will create darkness for a period of 1-hour and 40-seconds. During this period, even the stars in the sky cannot be seen!

This solar eclipse is set to commence at 12.30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST). It is informed that this full solar eclipse will last for 4 hours.

A part of the solar eclipse can be seen in the countries in the southern hemisphere of the Earth, including Chile, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
