Low to form in Arabian sea tomorrow - A big day ahead for TN as rains are expected in interior Tamil Nadu, West Tamil Nadu, South Tamil Nadu. Reduction in rains in Chennai likely compared to previous 2 days and lets see how clouds form later tonight. Vortex may likely form in Gulf of Mannar and heavy rains chance exist for South TN.
Chennai
The rains at night was within our hoped range and did not add to the woes of the public. The Massive clouds that we feared today is close to Chennai and should move up above and some rains should happen today. But reduction in rains likely.
Chennai, Kancheepuram, Chengaloet and Tiruvallur district can get good spells today but bulk will move up above Chennai towards South Andhra Pradesh. So NW Tiruvallur, Ranipet all chance of good rains.
CHENNAI PEOPLE DONT FEAR RAINS AS OF NOW EVEN IF SHORT SPELLS HAPPEN.
Cuddalore - Delta
Good rains happened in delta to cuddalore belt and and should continue some more time in Cuddalore and nearby districts.
South TN - heavy rains expected tonight to tomorrow morning with temp vortex forming.
Ramanthapuram hit some centuries in pamban-Mandapam belt with a temporary vortex forming again close to Toothukudi and very good can be expected and infact heavy to very heavy rains chance exist for Tuty-Nellai-Thenkasi and parts of Kumari too. Manjolai belt the wettest place in NEM in country has to watch out.
