Door to door COVID vaccination begins in TN now!!

Many people are reluctant to get vaccination for covid-19 infection due to some reason in the state of Tamil Nadu. On Tuesday, in the door-to-door vaccination more than 3 lakhs got vaccinated in a single day. This was highlighted by the health minister of TN Mr. M. Subramanian.
The health minister was busy donating an oxygen generator to the north Chennai based Government Stanley Hospital. He spoke about how TN has been taking various steps to vaccinate 100% of the eligible population with a single dose by the end of November through mega vaccination camps.
Information is that atleast 76% of the population has received the first vaccination dose and 40% second dose. Point is that in TN till now 6.71lakhs of vaccine doses has been administered. Private hospitals in TN have administered vaccinations to 2719707persons till now. Strict instructions have been issued to provide vaccination certificates without any error. The Tamil Nadu government has plans to establish special wards for the senior citizens at various medical college hospitals and district government general hospitals.
The health minister later threw light on how for the first time ever in India 1500 students would be admitted at the medical colleges this year in Tamil Nadu. Weightage would be given more to the rural students under 7.5% reservation quotas.
