Subsequently, there are prospects for heavy to very heavy rain in a few places in the districts of Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Thiruvallur, and Ranippettai tomorrow (Thursday, 25th November).

During the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), there are prospects for heavy to very heavy rain with lightning and thunder in 1 or 2 places in the districts of Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, and Chengalpattu.

As regards Chennai Metro City, IMD has informed us that the sky will remain mostly cloudy.

With a warning having been issued for very heavy rain, Tamil Nadu State Chief Minister M. K. Stalin is conducting a special review meeting regarding the encountering of the rain effects with all the district collectors today (Wednesday, 24th November).

The Chief Minister will participate through a video conference from the Tamil Nadu State Government Chief Secretariat.
