Online reservation for Darshan in all temples in Tamil Nadu - to be implemented soon!

The system of online reservation for booking Darshan in advance before visiting all temples in Tamil Nadu is set to be introduced shortly!
During the 1st Phase of this exercise of facilitating advance ONLINE booking for Darshan of the Gods/Goddesses, 46 large temples including Trichy Samayapuram Mariamman Temple, Srirangam Temple, Madurai Goddess Meenakshi Amman Temple and Thiruchendur Lord Murga’s Temple.
The Tamil Nadu State Government Department of the Hindu Religious Endowment has informed that once the system is implemented in the above 46 temples, this facility - system of online reservation ticket – will be gradually extended to all temples in the State of Tamil Nadu.
The Department has taken this decision in view of the prevailing coronavirus pandemic and the essential requirement for prevention of its spread – preventing large gatherings on any occasion – in this case, gathering of large crowds in temples!
It is gathered that this decision has delighted the common public!
