The traditionally grandly celebrated Annual Brahmotsavam Festival at the Lord Venkateswara Temple at Tirupathi commences today (Thursday, 7th October) with the divine flag-hoisting ceremony!
Brahmotsavam festival is one of the most hugely popular festivals traditionally celebrated annually at the Tirupathi Temple!
Though the prevailing situation concerns the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s Brahmotsavam Festival at the famous Tirupathi Temple is all set to COMMENCE WITH THE DIVINE FLAG-HOISTING CEREMONY THOUGH WITHOUT THE DEVOTEES PRESENT!
With the scheduled Brahmotsavam festival, the entire Tirupathi wears a grand festive look with colourful lamps adorning several locations and festoons being hung all over!\
The entire temple complex has been adorned with colourful flowers and the Golden Altar and temple flag tree have been adorned with colourful lamps!
Before the commencement of the Brahmotsavam festival, the festival of ‘Senathipathi Utsavam’ and ‘Anguraarppanam’ were performed at the temple yesterday (Wednesday, 6th October).
In the scenario described above, the Chief Minister of Andhra State Jaganmohan Reddy is set to participate in the festival and will adon silver clothing to the deity of Lord Venkateswara!
Apart from this, Andhra Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate several welfare schemes today (Thursday, 7th October)!
In another event, the Head of the Thirumalai-Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) Subba Reddy will inaugurate the renovated pavement route from Alibiri to Thirumalai.
